What is a CISO Board Report?

Presented to the board of directors, a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) board report is a detailed summary of an organization’s cybersecurity risks. This helps the board understand potential cyber threats so they can proactively approach information security for the company and its clients.

A CISO board report also helps explain why investment in security is vital to an organization’s ultimate success. Typically, a CISO will present a Cybersecurity board report to the CEO and the organization's board.
