What is Enterprise Security Architecture?
Enterprise Security Architecture is a program within an organization that seeks to design and implement security procedures to protect against cyberattacks and loss of or exposure to sensitive data. This can include everything from firewalls and antivirus software to solutions that monitor and respond to threats.
The goal of any enterprise security architecture is to employ best practices that prevent a cyberattack or breach from occurring in the first place. It also maintains a pre-determined protocol for responding to any attacks that actually make it through so that security teams can respond immediately.
